Recap: FPA of MN Golf & Bocce Outing

Diamond Partner, Vanguard sponsored the 2017 FPA of MN Golf and Bocce Ball tournament. It was a big success. The weather was a picture perfect day at the Midland Hills Country Club. Thank you to all of the participants for playing golf and bocce ball to support Homeward Bound while having fun away from the office. To that end, the event raised $7,678 for our charity.

Playing on a private course is always a treat and adventure. The course was in excellent shape. As with most private courses there isn’t a lot of signage showing where the next tee box is located or a score card showing the layout of the course. That made it challenging along with finding sprinkler heads with distant numbers to the hole. With that said, the committee did receive a lot of compliments, from participants, on a job well done.

During lunch, between shots, at sponsored tee boxes, while waiting for the beverage cart and after the golf and bocce ball networking was enjoyed by all.

A big “THANK YOU” to the Annual Partners, hole sponsors, event game sponsors, Partee cart sponsor, raffle donors and to all of you who helped put together the tournament. This event is only a success with all your help.
