Welcome to the Minnesota FPA Chapter Website on Career Development. We think you will find it a valuable tool if you are just beginning a career in financial planning or if you have chosen to pursue the CFP® certification.
For those experienced in financial planning, we welcome suggestions to make this section of the website more valuable to planners. If you have any tips, experiences or other suggestions that you found invaluable in helping you get started, and would be willing to share them, please contact a member of the Career Development Committee to convey your ideas. Also, if you would like to volunteer your time to serve on a committee and/or volunteer as a coach, we would welcome your assistance.
For those just starting out, the Career Development website helps new planners learn about the financial planning profession from experienced professionals by providing a vehicle for the sharing of information. Each day we continue to learn more about how our Minnesota FPA members began their professional careers and we are utilizing this site to share their experiences to assist you in your own career growth.... so check back often.
