Creating the Shared Vision:
Our vision is to create “Raving Fans” of FPA members by enhancing FPA MN membership value and connections, understanding member needs, and providing extraordinary benefits and activities.
Developing Strategies & Critical Success Factors:
- A documented member retention strategy/system - identify focus areas, develop tactics and document the process. Target date - December 1 (Entire Committee)
- "Do One Thing" Initiative - engage more members doing one thing. Identify program, review strategies, recommend, implement, and monitor. Target - Progressing throughout the year (Committee Members)
- New Member Orientation - documented system that also possibly invites non-members who may be considering membership. Materials identified and obtained from national FPA, as well as our own materials/information/website introduction. Target - June 15 and then quarterly after chapter meetings. (Joint effort with Membership Committee)
- Resource Program Promotion - documented system - 1 article per month with Platinum priority. Review website for accuracy. Email current participants for accurate data. Application process. Target - by February 1. (Volunteer)
- Annual Golf/Bocce Ball Tournament - documented system. Expand to others and combine as a recruiting event. Course identified; Sponsors obtained; and Market to members. Target - August 3 (Deb Newman, Jack Pickler, and volunteers from 2009)
- Member Discounts - documented system. Identify and communicate current discounts available. Target - March 31. (Volunteer)
- Communication of FPA membership Benefits in each monthly newsletter - Newsletter/email blasts. Target - January 1 (Volunteer)

Activating Transformations:
Each committee member becomes fully engaged taking responsibility for results and adding value to FPA membership
Achieving and Measuring Results:
- Identify and systematize key components of member retention strategy - by June 1; fully systematized by year end.
- Identify key components for 15 mintue education segments after chapter meetings each quarter - hold first session June 15th and then quarterly.
- Ask each Platinum Partner and Resource participant for a resource article for the newsletter - ASAP.
- Course and date selected for annual golf/bocce ball outing by November of previous year. Begin marketing to members by February. Contact partners and sponsors by April 1st. Obtain raffle items by July 15th. Setup organized by July 15th.
- Member Discounts verified for accuracy - select 2-3 each month - ASAP.
- Member Discounts promoted - select at least 1 each month to promote in monthly newsletter - ASAP.
